Will Tommy Lee be charged today? He will be questioned by the cops in the presence of his lawyer in relation to his involvement with the lottery scam. His manager Heavy D laughed off the charges, saying that ‘Tommy Lee is not involved in any lottery scam, the police just saw some receipts for some computers that he bought and saw the names of some overseas people on a piece of paper and over-reacted”.
The suspects were held in connection with a probe into the lottery scam by the Anti-Lottery Scam Taskforce. Reports are that the police stopped a vehicle in the New Kingston area, with three persons onboard, and the driver was cited for breaches of the Road Traffic Act. The driver then allegedly gave the officers a name which was discovered to be false; this aroused the suspicions of the lawmen, and the Lottery Scam Task Force was alerted and a search was conducted at the home of one of the persons held in the motor vehicle. Items linked to the Lottery Scam was allegedly found by the police. Three persons in the car and two persons at the home where police conducted a search were taken into custody and later handed over to the Major Organised Crime Investigation Division (MOCA), yesterday.
