Emerging reggae artiste ManyLights is overjoyed that his latest video for the single, Rampa, is approaching one million views on Youtube.
The Rampa video has racked up over 930,000 views since its release a month ago.
“I have been ramping up promotions online, and I am getting a lot of streams from North America and Europe, they’re really loving the video and the song. I have been to almost all the local street dances, and networking with street mixtape deejays, and radio disc jockeys, so the momentum is building,” the artiste whose real name is DuRae Wilkinson, said.
The single, ‘Rampa’, produced by producer-artiste Anthony Red Rose, was released on the Awesome Sauce rhythm project in February. The riddim also features Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Anthony Red Rose, Bounty Killer and other music heavyweights.
The single is doing well on Spotify and Apple Music.
“There are other emerging artists on the album but I’m the only one being released as a single amongst guys I grew up listening to. Yes I am very excited, I give God thanks everyday,” he said.
