Two brothers and another man, who are accused of cutting a man in two and stuffing his body into suitcases, were again denied bail when they appeared in the Spanish Town RM Court on February 27, 2015 before RM Simone Maddix.
The accused, Andre and Oshane Love along with Paul Hendricks, are charged with murder.
The gruesome nature of the case compelled RM Maddix to recuse herself from the matter.
“I cannot in anyway look at this matter favourably. This was a very gruesome act and I find it hard to even read the allegations,” remarked RM Maddix.
“Madam Clerk I wish to be excused from this matter, so please have it transferred to another court,” outlined RM Maddix.
Allegations are that sometime in 2011, all three accused had an altercation with the deceased where they beat him and took him to an open lot where he was cut in two and placed in two separate suitcases.
The matter is set to appear before another judge on March 19, 2015.
