Elephant Man and his management team are demanding a public apology from ZIP FM after its website published a false rumour regarding the deejay’s sexuality earlier this week. The management team is also demanding that the reporter who posted the offending news item be reprimanded for publishing the false rumour.
“We demand that ZIP publishes an apology on its website to Elephant Man or we will be forced to take legal action. This story is a blatant lie!!!! How can they publish a story like that about a reputable artiste without first checking the facts? Who is this gardener? Elephant Man does not have a gardener. The house is now under repairs, and they know that Elephant Man is not gay, he would never be in a situation like that, so why publish that. We demand an apology from ZIP for this false, slanderous story, and that the reporter who did the story be reprimanded for this action,” Rupert ‘Q 45’ Blake, manager of Elephant Man, said.
