A correctional officer who appeared in the Spanish Town RM Court recently on charges of possession of and dealing in ganja had his bail extended until September 1, 2015.
The accused, Darnielle Thomas, who was stationed at the Tamarind Farm Correctional Centre in June at about 8:30 p.m when his suspicious behaviour arose the attention of others and his knapsack was searched and 213 small parcels resembling vegetable matters were found.
The forensic certificate is outstanding and the investigating officer was bound over to complete the file.
