Cops from the Flying Squad pulled over a vehicle in which Alkaline was travelling in this afternoon, just minutes after he attended a church in the Pembroke Hall area. The cops thoroughly searched the vehicle but found no illegal weapons or contraband, so the entertainer was released.

Jamaican super-producer Justus Arison  is riding a high with his popular Overdrive riddim which received a shot in the arm with the release of a new single by Konshens called ‘Independent Girl’ a few weeks ago.  On this single, Konshens  reps independent girls who flash their own cheque books and hot rides. The single has been blowing up FM radio over the last two weeks.

Main prosecution witness Lamar Chow pointed out Vybz Kartel in the court today as the man whose voice starred the now infamous voice notes demanding the return of “two new shoes” – read as guns – by Clive ‘Lizard’ Willliams who is thought to be deceased.

Will Tommy Lee be charged today? He will be questioned by the cops in the presence of his lawyer in relation to his involvement with the lottery scam. His manager Heavy D laughed off the charges, saying that ‘Tommy Lee is not involved in any lottery scam, the police just saw some receipts for some computers that he bought and saw the names of some overseas people on a piece of paper and over-reacted”.
