The Jamaican Government paid over US$36,000 to hire a private jet to send Muslimeen leader Yasin Abu Bakr back to Trinidad and Tobago yesterday, after the Trinidad and Tobago Government denied the request to pay the fees to hire the aircraft to transport Abu Bakr home.

Dancehall artiste Ikon D Link, whose real name is Tyquan Fisher, has made a formal report to the Half Way Tree police that two men associated with a rival male dancehall artiste, have threatened to shoot him on more than one occasion. Constable V McQueen of the Half Way Tree police station confirmed that a report had been lodged at the station last week.
Ikon De Link, known as the ‘Tower Man’ in dancehall circles, is cowering in fear.
