Will there be justice for Kayalicia? Damien Hewell, the bus conductor who is charged with the brutal slaying of 14-year-old Kayalicia Simpson, was remanded when he appeared in a St Thomas court on Wednesday.
Hewell, has been in custody weeks after the girls mutilated body was found in her yard just outside of Yallahs in the parish in March.
Hewell is facing three charges of having sex with a minor.
An autopsy conducted on the body of the child revealed that she was five months pregnant at the time of her death.
Hewell was ordered to be brought back to court on September 2, after it was revealed that the case files were incomplete.
