Controversial dancehall artiste Bounty Killer is set to face the Gun Court on June 20th when one876entertainment.com understands that his trial is expected to start.
The artiste, whose realy name is Rodney Price, is on bail is charged jointly for illegal possession of firearm, assault at common-law and unlawful wounding arising from an incident on September 27, 2007.
Allegations are that Bounty Killer and a group of men assaulted an off-duty policeman along St Lucia Avenue in New Kingston.
It is reported that the policeman had left a club and noticed a number of vehicles blocking a section of the roadway.
He reportedly signaled the men to clear the roadway who allegedly attacked him.
A gun was reportedly pointed at the policeman.
