I have no reason to escape, I have no reason to escape was the words meted out by Daniel Ralston when he was arrested and charged for escaping custody from the Spanish Town Hospital.
Appearing in the Spanish Town RM Court before RM Mitchell, the accuse who was presently serving time for a previous offence and complete that sentencing on July 19, 2015 was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital on September 25, 2014 for treatment walked out of the institution without the knowledge of the police.
“Your honour mi nuh know wey fi sey. Mi jus fed up n wa do road, mi wa go mi yaad. Mi de a di hospital and de police wey shoulda guard mi lef so mi jus walk out”, Ralston explained before his sentencing was handed down.
“But Mr. Ralston who are aware that you were in custody and serving a sentencing so why you commit another offense on that”, RM Mitchell outlined.
“You know I have created a pattern from morning and the officers are upset that my decisions have been too easy but since I started that trend I am going to stick with it”, RM Mitchell explained before sentencing Daniel to 30 days at hard labour and the sentence is to run concurrent with the one that he is presently serving.
