Denno is finally gaining momentum as one of the most respected new voices in the world of dancehall with his new breakout single, Wine and Brace. The single has been bombing FM radio into submission over the last few weeks, and the young deejay has become one of the new names that promoters are banking on to pack clubs and venues overseas.

You might remember dancehall artiste Kemmikal from his brilliantly written single, Me and Poor Nah Par, last year. But now, he is scorching the airwaves again with the single, Love She Want, which has become a fast favourite of several local disc jockeys impressed by the red hot rookie’s wordplay and street metaphors.

 

 

The video has been getting heavy rotation on CVM, and HYPE TV, a sign of his growing street credibility.

International recording artiste Delly Ranx returned to the island yesterday to perform at the annual 'St. Mary Mi Come From' stage show and he did not disappoint his many fans as he put in a workmanlike performance full of his hits 'Headache' and the controversial 'Why' got the most forwards. The deejay also took time out to attend the funeral of his close friend, producer Selvin 'Ewan' McRae. 

 

 

Rastafarian reggae superstar Jah Cure, during a recent visit to Haiti to perform at a concert, was  impressed by the steely confidence of the Haitian president, Michel Martelly,  and moreso, Martelly’s  ability to reinvent himself from a singer to a politician.
